Jim is the Group Vice President of Corporate Brand and Reputation for Time Warner Cable. He oversees Corporate Social Responsibility, Thought Leadership and Community Investment. He has responsibility for the company’s community partnerships and investments, including Connect a Million Minds – a five-year, $100 million philanthropic initiative that was created to inspire youth to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). Before joining Time Warner Cable, Jim held executive positions with Discovery Communications and Comcast Corporation.
Developing and leading innovative, results-generating communications campaigns and the teams that implement them are Jim’s expertise and passion. Throughout a 15-year career, he has enjoyed success in creating internal and external communications strategies that achieved goals on many fronts, including new business development, branding, competitive positions, community outreach, and employee communications.
Jim has received numerous accolades and is a member of the Association of Cable Communicators (ACC), Women in Cable and Television (WICT), Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), and Cable & Telecommunications Association for Marketing (CTAM). He earned his Bachelor of Science in Communications from Towson University, and his M.A., Modern Studies from Loyola College. He has also graduated from CTAM University at Harvard Business School.
