Susan Arnot Heaney leads marketing at the Rainforest Alliance, focused on two areas: working with collaborating companies to promote their sustainability commitments, and advancing the Rainforest Alliance mission and brand. She has a passion for helping business “do well by doing good” in environmental and social impact, with a record of developing and leading global programs, building collaborations and bridging for-profit and non-profit sectors. Her experience includes marketing, cause marketing, communications, fundraising, policy development and corporate responsibility. Prior to the Rainforest Alliance, Ms. Heaney was Managing Director of Marketing, Communications and Development for The Sustainability Consortium. She previously spent 25 years in the corporate sector, including creation of the corporate responsibility practice at Avon Products, Inc. and leadership positions at the Avon Foundation.
